Our Story

How We Started

We've been organizing cycling activities for seniors in Pāvilosta since 2017. It all started when a group of local retirees wanted a safe way to stay active outdoors during the warmer months.

2017

stevenlano Solutions SIA was founded with a simple mission — help seniors discover the joy of cycling on flat coastal paths. We started with 12 enthusiastic riders and one experienced guide.

2019

Expanded to regular weekend group rides. We'd mapped out the safest, most scenic routes along Pāvilosta's coastline. Community feedback showed we're doing something right — membership doubled that year.

2021

Introduced seasonal programs tailored for different fitness levels. Partnered with local bike shops for maintenance workshops. That's when we really understood what seniors actually wanted from cycling.

2024-2026

Today, we're coordinating weekly rides, monthly social events, and specialized cycling programs for pensioners. Over 300 seniors have participated in our activities since we started. We're not just organizing rides — we're building a community.

What We Offer

Why Choose Us

We're not just organizing casual rides. Everything we do is built around making cycling safe, enjoyable, and accessible for seniors in our community.

Flat Coastal Routes

Pāvilosta's coastal paths are perfect for comfortable cycling. No steep climbs, beautiful scenery, and safe surfaces. We've tested every route personally.

Community Focus

You're not riding alone. Join a group of like-minded seniors who enjoy outdoor activity, good conversation, and regular social events throughout the year.

Health Benefits

Regular cycling improves cardiovascular fitness, strengthens legs, and boosts mental health. We've seen real changes in our participants' energy levels and confidence.

Safety First

Experienced guides lead every ride. We teach proper bike handling, route navigation, and emergency procedures. Safety gear and bike maintenance checks are standard.

Flexible Schedule

Weekly rides during warm months, monthly events year-round. Choose what works for your schedule. Some people ride once a week, others join special seasonal events.

Bike Support

We connect you with local shops for maintenance, offer advice on choosing the right bike, and host quarterly maintenance workshops so you understand your equipment.

Our Method

How We Run Our Programs

We keep things simple. Each ride is led by experienced guides who know the coastal paths inside and out. Groups are small enough that everyone gets attention but large enough to feel like a real community.

Rides typically last 60-90 minutes depending on distance and fitness level. We start at moderate pace, include rest breaks at scenic spots, and always end with coffee or tea back at our starting point. Honestly, the social part is as important as the cycling.

We don't push anyone. You ride at your own pace, and we adjust routes based on participant feedback. Some people are training for fitness, others just want to enjoy the outdoors with friends. Both are perfectly valid reasons to join us.

Our Principles

What Drives Everything We Do

These aren't corporate buzzwords. They're the actual things we care about when planning rides, talking to participants, and building this community.

1

Accessibility

Everyone's welcome. Doesn't matter your fitness level, how long it's been since you've ridden, or your age. We'll find a group that matches where you're at.

2

Safety

We take precautions seriously but don't make it feel restrictive. Good planning, proper equipment, and experienced guides keep risks low while you enjoy the ride.

3

Community

This is about connection. Friendships form, people find motivation in each other, and we build something meaningful together. Cycling is the vehicle, community is the point.
